About me

About Me

My name is Hai. Simple as that.
People call me Hải Thật — Hai who always learns to live authentically.

I was born and raised in Kim Liên Village, Nghệ An, Vietnam — a quiet countryside of fields, village markets, and long afternoons under the sun.

I grew up with loving parents (Bố Thanh, Mẹ Nam) who loved me without conditions, and an older sister (chị Hoài) who cared for me in her own quiet way.

My childhood was shaped by two things: study and responsibility.

I studied hard with one clear intention: to build a better life.
After school, I helped my mother sell goods at the village market. I learned early that effort and survival walk together.

When I was around 11 years old, our family faced serious financial hardship. Something shifted inside me then. Responsibility arrived earlier than it should have.

My early twenties were intense — the Years of Fire.

Career.
Achievement.
Expansion.

I dropped out of university three times to pursue business full-time (later, in my late twenties, I did finish a law degree). I chose risk over comfort. Action over theory.

I built from a very humble beginning. Self-made. Learning through mistakes — many mistakes. Failing forward.

Work became obsession.
Proving became fuel.

I began building small businesses in education while still in high school. Over time, those early efforts grew into the core work I continue today. The education group I founded is now eight years old, with multiple business units and more than 80 team members across Nghệ An, Hà Tĩnh, and Ho Chi Minh City, focusing on language training, international testing services, international camps, and overseas education consulting.

Along the way, I also explored other ventures, including investing in and operating small studio rental buildings near My Khe Beach in Da Nang — a hands-on experience in hospitality-style housing.

Life also gave me the chance to travel across more than 30 countries in Asia, Europe, and the Americas. At 25, I obtained a second citizenship through investment, giving me greater mobility to work and explore the world.

For a while, achievement became the language I used to measure life.

Material success slowly turned into identity.
Identity quietly turned into pride.
Pride, at times, leaned toward arrogance.

It did not happen overnight. It grew step by step — disguised as confidence.

Later, in my late twenties, something shifted.

Life began to feel very different.

If I must use a few words to describe what I am learning now:

Tu thân — refining myself through small daily habits
Thương — loving more deeply and consciously
Hiếu — placing love for my parents at the center
Gia phong — building a family tradition worth protecting
Làm Nghề — doing business in education with purpose

Success began to feel empty without inner alignment.
Expansion felt hollow without meaning.

In December 2022, I married a woman from Gia Lai, Dân Vương (Sofia), who is building her own path in skincare and healthcare. Together, we are raising two daughters, Cherry and Mia, who remind me every day what truly matters.

Now I am still evolving.
Still unlearning.
Still learning what it means to live meaningfully — not loudly, but deeply.

Keep walking toward the sun — with a smile, every moment.

On this blog, I will start with.

Quiet Thinker. Where I write slow reflections in a fast world—about life, leadership, and self-understanding. Notes from quiet moments where I pause, think deeply, and ask who I am becoming.

Learning at Work. Where I write lessons from building and leading in real life. Honest reflections on business, education, and leadership—what works, what fails, and what work continues to teach me.
